Why 1,107 Learners Chose a Simple, Fear-Free Way to Learn Astrology
For many people, astrology starts with fear. A worrying prediction, a costly remedy, a warning about a planet. We have heard these stories again and again from people who came to us confused and scared. At AUM Gurukul, we wanted to change that. Our promise is simple: Darr nahi, samajh. No fear, only understanding.
Today, AUM Gurukul has crossed 1,107 total enrollments. Every one of those is a person who decided to understand life a little better. In this post, we want to share why we think so many learners chose this path, and how you can begin too.
Astrology Should Give Clarity, Not Fear
The SALSA® Method of Astrology was built on one belief: real guidance should make you calmer, not more afraid. If a reading leaves you anxious, something is wrong with how it was delivered.
So we teach astrology as a tool for self-understanding. Planets are not enemies. Even a retrograde is not a disaster. It is more like a pause, a time to finish what you forgot, or a call back to something before you move ahead. When you see it this way, the chart stops being a list of threats and becomes a map you can actually use.
This change in thinking is the first thing most of our learners notice. They come in expecting complicated rules and scary outcomes. They leave with a clear, practical way of looking at their own life.
Simple Language, Practical Use
Dr. Sudhir comes from an engineering background, and that shows in how we teach. Engineers like things that work. Every idea in the SALSA® Method of Astrology is explained in simple language, with a clear link to everyday life: work, family, relationships, decisions.
You don't need to memorise hundreds of Sanskrit terms on day one. You don't need a background in maths. You need curiosity and a little patience. We take care of breaking the rest into small, easy steps.
That is why our learners come from all walks of life: homemakers, business owners, students, professionals and healers.
What Our Learners Say
Numbers tell one part of the story. Our learners tell the rest. AUM Gurukul has received 727 testimonials with a 5.0★ average rating.
Here are three short reflections from learners of the 18 Days SALSA® Anubhav Sadhak – Diamond Certification (Step 2 of 2):
- "this is too good" — ashutosh
- "simple way to learn astrology" — Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat
- "New and very innovative informations." — Chandrashekhar Roy
These are short lines, but they say exactly what we hoped for. Simple. New. Useful. You can read more reflections on the AUM Gurukul website.
More Than One Way to Learn
AUM Gurukul offers different paths depending on what you need. Some of the active courses include:
- Ab Khud Ke Liye: A 7-Day Inner Healing Journey, a gentle week focused on yourself.

You don't have to choose everything at once. Most learners start small and grow step by step.
Learning Together, as a Family
We are Dr. Sudhir and Dr. Vidhya Khollam, known together as Dr. SuVi, your family astrologers. We teach as a husband-and-wife team, and we see our students as part of a larger family.
Learning is easier when you are not alone. Our learning circle shares questions, small wins and reflections every day. Nobody is judged for asking a "basic" question. Every question is welcome.
